Without his partner in crime, Cameron Munster, it was Storm superstar Jahrome Hughes who once again shone bright to lead the Westpac Red Zone MVP standings in Round 19.

The reigning Dally M Medallist turned the afterburners on at the break, trailing the Knights 8-6 as they braced for a Craig Bellamy serve at halftime at McDonald Jones Stadium.

From there, Hughes took over to tally three of his four try assists and help Melbourne pile on 26 second half points and streak away with a win.

Trailing him in this week’s leaderboard is the Warriors’ halves pairing of Chanel Harris-Tavita and Tanah Boyd, who turned out for their first game together.

Boyd, filling the void left by an injury to Luke Metcalf, was excellent and had a hand in five tries, with one assist and four contributions.
